I am very excited to share that Shannon's lovely husband Eric is safely home. Eric welcome back to land! Now it is time to spoil our dear Shannon.
Hope everyone had a wonderful and relaxing Easter weekend. Easter has always been a fun holiday. Who doesn't love coloring eggs, having a little Easter egg hunt, Easter dinner, and Sunday with the family. What's your favorite Easter event?
Happy Monday!

Hope everyone is having a great beginning to the week. We had an excellent weekend here, with 85 degrees on Sunday, followed by Monday and Tuesday of 45 degree and snow today. The beauty of Colorado is sun and warmth should be back tomorrow.
Anyhow, today I want to reflect back on Dad instilling phenomenal business behaviors at work. We were raised from a very early age to have goals, drive, and work ethic to become successful. WOW how I appreciate this. I can remember the times we went to work with Dad at a very early age 6-10ish and he corrected us, even as children, he explained when you were at work you needed to be professional.
If Dad/Jim impacted you professionally please share your story. - Angie

So it sounds like we are interested in pulling together and sharing memories, success, and times of need. I look forward to sharing. Hope everyone is having a great day. Saturday's and Sunday's are suppose to be days to rest. In my opinion they are the days to run here, there, and everywhere. While traditionally weekends were suppose to be days spent with family, more and more people are having to work. With that being said I think it is important no matter what day of the week we have for rest, we are spending time with those who we care about, both friends and family. Life is too short not to take in the moment. We are all so busy. My questions for you today is did you take the time this week to call, write, or reach out to someone you care about? Angie

2012 -Year of Memories
Believe it or not, this time last year all of our lives
changed . . . this time last year Dad was diagnosed with cancer. The next 90 days brought laughter, tears, and
a whole lot of memories but most importantly it brought us all TOGETHER! I have had a lot of thoughts about this and I
think we need to keep that track going.
So I have asked Jeff if we could continue to blog. Some of you may or may not know me; I am
Angie (Jim’s daughter) and I live in Colorado.
I have never written in a blog,
but thought no guts no glory. I would
like to write and share stories and experiences we all have had in memory of
Dad . . . AKA: brother, ‘my cowboy’, uncle, papa, mentor, boss, friend and for
all of us a great listener.
I ask that if you know of someone that would like to remember Dad in the positive way he deserves please recirculate the blog link for great things to come. HAPPY FRIDAY to all!

Donations
The family has been asked where we would like any donations to go. Based on how awesome the hospice service was, how unique the people are there, and how much compassion they showed us, we would like to ensure they are fully funded to continue to give this awesome service to those who need it. Therefore if you would like to make a donation in the name of Jim Raymond to the Franciscan Health system in Tacoma, WA you may do so by following this link:http://www.fhshealth.org/Ways_Give.aspx
Thank you,
Jeff
